Cardwell’s “Clearer Waste Evacuation” coupled with “Pad Clearer” for bottom fluted roller is an effective arrangement for 100% removal of clearer waste.  Presently the positive clearer at the top has to be manually cleaned, resulting in frequent breakdowns.  It is observed that the bottom positive clearer does not function effectively.  In our system top waste on the clearer is effectively removed by suction.  The bottom positive clearer is dispensed with and our Pad clearer is installed and the waste collected by the pad clearer is removed by suction.  It is advisable to clean the rubber pad once in a shift. • The pad clearers can be supplied also as a stand-alone accessory.

  • Specially designed rubber pads are cost effective, can be used 4 times and have a long working life.

  • Rubber pads clean inside of the flutes, which is not there with a clearer cloth.  Lapping problem completely arrested.
